1st edition of ‘Digital Government Forum’ to launch in Riyadh

The Digital Government Authority is launching the first “Digital Government
Forum” in Riyadh on Wednesday under the theme “Towards a Promising Digital
Horizon”.
Drawing a number of local and international
government agencies, ministers, experts, specialists and decision makers in the
field of digital government, the event provides an opportunity to exchange
expertise on how to improve beneficiary experiences, quality of life, and
national competitiveness.
It is in line with the goals of Vision 2030 in
harnessing the journey of digital transformation.
Through its dialogue sessions and workshops, the
forum will highlight the achievements of the digital government, present digital
transformation success stories, build partnerships and open investment
opportunities in the Kingdom’s digital sector.
Governor of the Digital Government Authority Ahmed
Mohammad Al Suwaidan stated that the forum will unveil "Qiyas 2022," a framework
aimed at enabling government agencies to accelerate digital transformation in
line with Vision 2030.
The “Digital Government Forum 2022” will also
launch and review a number of digital government products, including: The NSQ
platform, the industrial platform, the unified platform for tourism, the
national data platform, and the national electronic access service.
In addition, the event will host the meeting of
the Executive Committee of E-Government in the GCC as well as crown the
recipients of the Digital Government Award.
