A deal toward global
leadership
KUWAIT: In a move that marks a
transformation in the region’s luxury perfume industry, a strategic agreement
was announced between CZAR and the Italian house AFM, aiming to enter European
markets as the first phase of a comprehensive global expansion plan designed to
establish a strong presence in the world’s most prominent perfume capitals.
This agreement lays the foundation for a new phase of high-caliber partnerships
between East and West — combining Italian craftsmanship with contemporary
Kuwaiti vision in shaping fragrance identity — reinforcing CZAR’s position as a
brand aspiring for international leadership. Ahmed Salah Al-Heid, Deputy CEO,
explained that the agreement represents a well-studied strategic step to build
an active presence in European markets, noting that the goal of the partnership
is to move from artistic collaboration to establishing a production and
development platform that positions CZAR among the world’s leading perfume
houses.
Al-Heid revealed that the first fruit of this collaboration will be the launch
of Link, signed by the renowned Italian perfumer Luca Maffei, marking the
official start of the partnership between both sides. He emphasized that Link is
not merely a new product but a clear message reflecting the brand’s global
direction and its determination to compete under European luxury standards.
Al-Heid concluded his statement by saying: “This deal represents a true turning
point in CZAR’s journey toward global recognition. We are not just creating a
new fragrance — we are redefining the relationship between Kuwaiti creativity
and Italian precision in the world of fine perfumery.”
